Impossible Science LIVE! SHOW

Jason Latimer has been featured on television around the world as both a scientist and magician. While Latimer is both a curator of the iconic Fleet Museum in San Diego, CA, and a World Champion Magician his network specials, TV series, and appearances span the globe. Jason has been featured as a science host on the Science Channel, Roku, Amazon, and as a magician on the Syfy Channel, History, BBC ONE, and Japan's NHK.  In 2021, SONY partnered with Latimer to bring his unique blend of science and magic to online and to PBS to assist with distance learning. Impossible Science's growth has been exponential ever since, garnering over a hundred million views and multiple streaming awards as an educational series. 

At the age of nine, Jason was inspired by a magic show and fell in love with the mystery of the “unknown.” With an insatiable appetite for "what is possible?" he found himself studying both science and magic. Decades later, he has achieved magic's highest honor, the Grand Prix 'Best Overall' World Champion of Magic title. Latimer soon discovered a new passion given his education and unique skillset, inspiring wonder in education. Based on Jason’s TED Talk “Seeing Beyond the Illusion of Knowledge,” Latimer created Impossible Science for museums to inspire curiosity for children in the Age of Information. By reformatting science experiments into illusions, Latimer created a new approach to education that engages individuals to ask questions. Today, Impossible Science is transforming education with touring STEAM festivals, at-home experiments, live shows, NGSS lesson plans, television series, STEAM camps, and their Professional Development Series for educators. Impossible Science can be found in science centers and museums throughout California, Oregon, and Arizona, while Jason's videos and lesson plans are a STEAM resource for schools across the nation, including LAUSD, Los Angeles County Office of Education, and the Let's Learn series on PBS with the Department of Education NYC.
